When the rod pump is dismantled, the pump would be taken down instead of the tubing. There are various kinds of rod pump and different choices. The rod pump is easy to operate and efficient, thus it can save the cost in a great extent. We provide the following three kinds of rod pumps, whose diameter is from 31.75mm-57.15mm and the stroke is in 10.5mm.
Top-anchor rod pump with stationary barrel (type A)
Bottom-anchor rod pump with stationary barrel (type B)
Bottom-anchor rod pump with traveling barrel (type T)
- Top-anchor rod pump with stationary barrel (type A)
Features: The locking device is at the top, and the sand around the locking device would be washed out when the plunger is travelling to prevent the sand block. The pump barrel would swing around the lock device as the fulcrum, so that neither the barrel nor the pipe would be damaged while the rod pump is travelling down in the inclined shaft.
It is suitable for the oil wells, whose setting depth of pump is in 2100m and the viscosity is under 400cP.
Disadvantages: As the top is settled, the barrel is under the combined load from both the internal pressure and drawing force of the travelling plunger, then the condition is terrible. In the upper-stroke of the plunger, the internal pressure is higher than the external pressure of the barrel. So the inner bore would be expanded and the wastage rate would increase.
- Bottom-anchor rod pump with stationary barrel (type B)
Features: As the locking device is on the bottom, the plunger would not expand even the liquid column works and it only suffers from the external pressure and the interval would not enlarge. So it is suitable for the deep wells. The pump barrel would swing around the lock device as the fulcrum, and it is also works in the inclined shaft.
It is suitable for the deep wells, whose settling depth of pump is in 2900m and the viscosity is under 400cP.
Not suitable: Because it is easy for the sand deposit in the annular ***ce between the fixed supporting casing and the locking device |
